My husband Charles A. “Cap” Pidgeon created and ran Cap’s Paint and Body for the past 36 years. For the past four years, while Cap battled cancer, he relied on [me] and his wonderful staff to run his business he kept so close to his heart.
I’m proud to announce, and as I promised my husband, Cap’s Paint and Body will continue into the future.
My husband’s cancer was physically and emotionally draining. I hope that no person reading this will ever have to go through what we have. I’ve decided to create a nonprofit that will assist families that go through this process. Anyone that chooses to have any body work during the year of 2015, a percentage of your bill will go directly to the creation of Cap’s Legacy.
I cannot express to this entire community how much their support, cards, letters and endless gestures mean to myself and our entire family.
