One for the books
I am writing this, not in my role as [Signal Hill] Parks & Recreation commissioner, but as a long-time resident and compulsive reader. The “temporary” library is open now in the community center building as we await the construction of the new library. It is organized, welcoming and waiting for you to visit.
All the previous services and written materials are available. The catalog system is new and totally user-friendly. I signed up myself without any problem, and the library staff is there to help anyone needing assistance. The new software opens up many ways to research a book/author [and] reserve [the title] (and know how many are on the waiting list) and will confirm the request via text or email and have the book ready for you to pick up. Visit signalhill.biblionix.com/catalog to see the many services offered.
Enjoy an opportunity for great summer reading for you and your family soon.
