Friends of Signal Hill Cultural Arts will present its 4th Annual Show & Sell Art Affair on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 3pm to 8pm at the Signal Hill Park Community Center, 1780 East Hill St., highlighting the works of artists and crafters from “The Hill” and surrounding communities.
Artists who will be showing and selling a wide range of media include Dyana Andersen, Bridgette Antonelli, Celeste Barham-Kent, Maria Inez Buckovecz, Carlotta Giangualano, Pat Harper, Terry Harris, Bacilia Hernandez, Geri-Ellen Huntington, Sara Munoz, Gina Rosenthal, Jessica Schweitzer, Michael Strauss, Gloria Whea-Fun Teng, and others. As a special treat, Long Beach sculptor Stan Pawlowski will also have his limited-edition bronze sculpture “Dreaming,” which was specially created for the Peanuts comic strip’s 60th anniversary, on display.
The event will also feature live smooth jazz and soul music by Darryl Walker and Keith Flourney and complimentary hors d’Å“uvre and desserts. Wine and champagne will be available for purchase. Admission is free to the public.Â
