A mural displayed on the building of Goodwill, Serving the People of Southern Los Angeles County (SOLAC) has become a Poké Stop on the popular digital game Pokémon Go. The mural, which features a collage of workers representing various industry jobs, serves as a visual landmark of Goodwill SOLAC’s headquarters building located at 800 W. Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
To encourage local residents to “catch” the game’s creatures, Goodwill SOLAC is offering a 10-percent discount for customers who present a Pokémon Go screen shot of the mural on their mobile devices. The mural’s screen shot should be presented at the register of any Goodwill SOLAC retail store.
