Locally produced cookbook has recipes for pets and their owners

Friends of Long Beach Animals (FOLBA), a local organization dedicated to animal welfare and humane education, has cooked up Pawsitively Perfect Recipes, a compendium of homemade treats for animals and humans, all contributed by local animal-loving residents. The cookbook is available for a donation of $15 at the following local pet-related outlets:

All funds from the cookbook will benefit humane education and SNIP, FOLBA’s spay/neuter voucher program, within Signal Hill and Long Beach. FOLBA is dedicated in its promotion of the humane treatment and care of cats, dogs and all other animals through the education of the public as to pet owner responsibilities within the cities of Long Beach and Signal Hill.
