The Long Beach field office for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is scheduled to close for renovations on Oct. 30 at noon, according to Jessica Gonzalez from the Office of Public Affairs/Media Relations for the California DMV.
The renovations will include reconfiguration and new installation in the employee work area, control room, test area, test monitor area, licensing-exam area and manager’s office, Gonzalez said.
The office is scheduled to reopen on Feb. 17, 2016. Staff and customers will be redirected to the Bellflower, Compton, Torrance, San Pedro and Westminster field offices during the closure.
