While the return of school creeps around the corner, we’ve gathered a list of events to help families and friends soak up Long Beach’s concerts, movies and summer-centric outdoor gatherings.

Many organizations are winding down their concerts and movies in the park, but residents can still catch a show at LBCC Friday night and an acoustic performance at the Recreation Park bandshell Saturday night. Families can watch classics like “Jumanji,” “A League of Their Own,” “Guardians of the Galaxy III” and “Elemental” at parks throughout the week.

Other activities include a pup-human yoga outing on Saturday, an antique market on Sunday and a group run on Tuesday.
