Long Beach resident John Wilbur Rademacher has been missing for over a year, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
38-year-old Rademacher may have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of his disappearance. According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, he was last seen in security camera footage leaving his apartment complex naked, near the 4800 block of Gaviota Avenue in Long Beach on May 4, 2021, at around 2:20 a.m.
He hasn’t contacted his family or friends since May 3, 2021.
Rademacher is described as a 6-foot-tall white man who weighs 145 pounds. He has strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.
According to the California Department of Justice, Rademacher has a tattoo of crossed fingers on one forearm and a scar on his throat.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, detectives are investigating Rademacher’s disappearance and believe he may be in the Long Beach or Lakewood area.
