The City of Long Beach’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Marine (PRM) is hosting a series of job fairs beginning this weekend.
The job fairs will offer information on a wide range of PRM programs that are currently hiring or will hire soon within, including day camps, youth sports, older adult programs, teen programs and aquatics.
The job fairs will take place on the following dates:
- Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orizaba Park Community Center (1435 Orizaba Ave.)
- Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Whaley Park Recreation Center (5620 E Atherton St.)
- Saturday, Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Doris Topsy Elvord Community Center at Houghton Park (6301 Myrtle Ave.)
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend to meet PRM supervisors and staff and learn what it’s like being a Long Beach Recreation Leader.
