Beginning Sunday, June 21, Long Beach Transit service changes will commence with the following:
Route 96 ZAP This line does not operate during summer service. Service will resume Aug. 24.
Route 131 The weekday bus leaving Wardlow Station will now depart five minutes later at 5:15am to improve connections with the Metro Blue Line.
Route 173 The first outbound weekday Route 173 bus that used to leave Pacific Coast Highway at Long Beach Boulevard at 5:17am will now leave the Transit Gallery at 5:05am to improve early-morning connections with routes 46, 94 and 151.
Route 192 The first outbound weekday Route 192 bus, which used to begin service on Del Amo Boulevard at Long Beach Boulevard at 4:56am, will now depart at 4:37am It will also begin service on Anaheim Street at Magnolia Avenue at 4:10am to better serve early-morning commuters. Trips on weekends currently ending on South Street at Cherry Avenue at 8:57pm and 9:54pm will now be extended to end at Los Cerritos Center to better serve customers.
Lines 40, 60, 90, 100, 110, 170, 190 Service has been adjusted to meet the ridership needs during the summer months.
Amtrak Amtrak buses will now pick up Amtrak customers at Shelter A in the Transit Gallery in downtown Long Beach on 1st Street between Long Beach Boulevard and Pine Avenue. The Amtrak buses will connect customers to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles.
Timepoints may have been changed to improve service.
