On Tuesday, residents and staff of Courtyard Care Center Nursing Facility turned their Signal Hill patio into a tropical paradise when they held their annual Hawaiian Luau. The yard brought the island life to them as they displayed tropical food, listened to Polynesian music and watched as the Alohi Polynesian Dancers entertained them with dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and New Zealand. And guests played along with the Polynesian theme, sporting plastic leis and Hawaiian print clothing.
