A 33-year-old Long Beach man was arraigned Feb. 16 in connection with a murder that occurred last year, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).
On Dec. 6, 2015, at approximately 10:40am, LBPD officers responded to a parking lot in the 1700 block of Ximeno Avenue where a deceased male adult was found in a motor home. The victim, 62-year-old Gary Rice, had been stabbed in the upper body.
Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified a suspect. On Feb. 10, detectives arrested Justin Michael St. George in Cypress.
Homicide detectives presented their case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration, and on Feb. 16, Justin Michael St. George was charged with Rice’s murder. The suspect is currently being held in Long Beach City Jail with bail set at $1,040,000.
