Tievon Lee Harmon, who was reported as missing on July 15, was found later that night at 11pm, the Long Beach Police Department announced in a press release.
Authorities circulated a photo of 25-year-old Harmon who went missing after visiting the home of a family friend in Long Beach and ditching his protective helmet.
Harmon was last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at a residence in the 6400 block of Paramount Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Harmon, who suffers from a prior injury that requires him to wear the helmet, left the residence without it and is known to use public transportation.
Harmon was described as a 5-feet-2-inch black man weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a “Sherrie” tattoo on his right forearm and a dent on the right side of his forehead.
