There is a new jewelry store in town and the residents of Bixby Knolls have noticed. Opening its doors just last month, Milana Jewelry aims to corner the jewelry market one gemstone at a time.
Located at 4130 Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach, Milana Jewelry is the first business of jeweler and gemologist Dang Tiv. Tiv has been in the jewelry profession since 2002. When he made the decision to break out on his own, he looked to the Bixby Knolls area as an ideal starting point.
“I like the area,” said Tiv. “It’s unique and you can see that it’s growing and I wanted to do something to contribute.”
And Bixby Knolls residents agree. Since former jewelry store Star Jewelers closed its doors last June, the neighborhood was without a nearby alternative. Seizing the opportunity to fill that void, Tiv was more than happy to give local customers what they were looking for, and then some.
