The Aquatics Section of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine is currently hiring lifeguards and swim instructors for Silverado Pool and Martin Luther King Jr. Pool.
Hours can be arranged around school schedules, and are available evenings and weekends. Even year-round hours are available.
Pay ranges from $8.60 to $12.33 an hour.
Applicants must pass a swim test and an oral interview, and be 17 years of age prior to June 16. Certification in CPRO, First Aid, Lifeguard Training and WSI are preferred but opportunities for certification are available.
