This year McKenzie Mortuary will continue its tradition with its 15th Annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive, but with a twist. This year every toy, food or monetary donation brought to McKenzie Mortuary from December 1 through December 22 will be matched dollar for dollar by McKenzie Mortuary (not to exceed $10,000) and all proceeds will be donated to KAMM Cares, a local breast cancer foundation that places monies directly into the hands of those going through breast cancer treatment.
Bring any donation to McKenzie Mortuary, 3843 East Anaheim St., seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. If transportation is a problem, call McKenzie Mortuary to make arrangements to have donations picked up.
On December 23, those families going through breast cancer treatment may come to the mortuary at 4 pm to pick up donated items for their families to help alleviate holidays shopping stress and expense.
