NBC to air special on 2004 Bixby Knolls murder

The 2004 killing of 50-year-old Lynn Schockner in her Bixby Knolls home will be the subject of a two-hour special on NBC on Friday, March 6.
Schockner’s wealthy husband had paid $5,000 to a hitman, who then hired another man for $5,000 to conduct the murder, which took place as police were at the front door after a neighbor had called 9-1-1 about a prowler.
The special, entitled “In Broad Daylight,” will feature former Press-Telegram staff writers who covered the case.
The program will air from 9pm to 11pm PST.
