Gallery Expo, 4321 Atlantic Avenue, is having an open call through Friday, March 12 for an upcoming exhibit entitled “Vision of a Green Tomorrow.” All entry submissions should include the artist or photographer’s contact information, any special hanging instructions, and the title, size, medium, and price of the work (if for sale).
Photographic and digital submissions no smaller than 5 ½ x 7 can be emailed to Douglas at mindsculptor1@verizon.net. Other submissions should be dropped off at Gallery Expo (include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for the return of submissions). The entry fee is $10 and can be dropped off or mailed to the gallery. Checks should be made out to Ruth Munguia.
Notification date is Friday, March 19, and the Artist’s Reception will be on Friday, April 2 from 6-10pm. First and second prize winners will receive half and one fourth off of all entry fees, respectively.
