The Signal Tribune is opening its upcoming Veterans Day Issue for submissions from local veterans.

If you have served in the Armed Forces, the Signal Tribune invites you to submit poetry, short stories or photos for our Nov. 10 Veterans Day Issue.

The maximum word count for submissions is 500 words, and the Signal Tribune reserves the right to refrain from publishing racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory messages.

Through Nov. 8 at midnight, local veterans can send their submissions to Newspaper@SignalTribune.com with the subject line “Veterans Day Issue.”
