I recently signed the “The Know and Vote” petition because I want the right to vote on new Signal Hill taxes and bond measures and other fees that may get put on my property tax bill. State and local governments have been working hard dreaming up ways to get more of my income to continue with “dream” or “legacy” projects, and Signal Hill is no exception.
Whether you support these types of projects or not, “The Know and Vote” petition being circulated to local Signal Hill voters is a good way to get some control over spending in Signal Hill. “Know and Vote” gives me a definite influence on city money proposals— something that I don’t have now. Please sign this petition as it will give you more voice in how your money is spent.
