Long Beach Animal Care Services and Friends of Long Beach Animals will host a memorial service to celebrate the life of Wheely Willy, the beloved Chihuahua that passed away on Dec. 22. The service will be Tuesday, Jan. 19 from noon to 2pm at the Memorial Garden at Long Beach Animal Care Services P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village, 7700 East Spring St.
After the ceremony, all of Willy’s friends and fans are invited for refreshments, conversation and reminiscences about him. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Friends of Long Beach Animals in appreciation of the role they play in improving the lives of so many animals in need— animals such as Willy, who began his life as a rescued pet.
