The Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Association of the United States Army (GLAC AUSA) is organizing its 240th annual Army Birthday Ball on Saturday, May 30 aboard the Queen Mary to provide the public an opportunity to honor soldiers and provide them with a night out.
Through the “Give A Soldier A Night Out” program, the public can make it possible for a local soldier to attend the ball with donations of $25, $50, $100 or more.
The event will include a three-course dinner, an entertainment program that honors the United States Army and reinforces their pride and honor in serving their country, prom-style photos and dancing.
Those interested may purchase seats for themselves or donate funds to pay for seats for soldiers. For more information, visit ausaglac.info/activities/outreach-activities/army-ball or call (714) 220-3897.
