The Queen Mary continues a tradition of family fun with activities planned for the entire family both ashore and aboard on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be children’s activities ashore in Seawalk all day, and live bands will perform aboard the ship on the stern decks from noon until 9 p.m.
A fireworks spectacular will begin at 9:15 p.m.
All Queen Mary attractions, exhibits and tours will have extended hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
General admission for the day is $25.95 for adults, $22.95 for seniors and military and $11.95 for children ages 5 to 11. Children under 5 are admitted free with adults. Parking is $15 per car.
Also this year, VIP tickets are available for $99 for adults and $39 for children that include day-long admission plus a buffet dinner in the Capstan Club from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., preferred seating for the fireworks and admission to the new Rockin’ Hollywood photographic exhibit in the Sun Deck Gallery.
