Revving up

Long Beach Honda staff and Signal Hill city officials hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 23 to celebrate the reopening of the auto-manufacturer’s dealership located at 1500 E. Spring St. Event attendees were treated to a taco food-truck and refreshments. Fred Angiuli, Long Beach Honda general manager, told the Signal Tribune that “foot traffic” to the dealership has increased since the remodeling. “I can see, for sure, that this will be a 400-car-a-month store fairly easy,” he said. “We were selling 320 to 330 [cars] before construction, and it kind of dipped.” Angiuli said the company’s mission statement is to make lifetime customers. He believes his facility is sticking to that expectation. The dealership on Spring Street also offers customers repair services for its vehicles.
