Salvation Army breaks ground on community center renovation project

” captionposition=”center”] Last week, the Salvation Army Long Beach Corps broke ground on a $6.5-million renovation project that will transform its facilities into a state-of-the-art center for the Long Beach community, according to the Salvation Army Southern California Division.
The groundbreaking event was attended by several Long Beach and Signal Hill City officials, who discussed the importance of the community center in the heart of Long Beach and Signal Hill. When the renovations are complete, there will be “life-changing programs” available to seniors, youths, veterans and adults alike, according to The Salvation Army.
