SH City Council recognizes local wine store's anniversary

Mayor Larry Forester read a proclamation in honor of the anniversary that stated The Wine Country is one of California’s distinguished wine and spirit stores.
“We all love your store,” he said.
Randy took time to give thanks to the City of Signal Hill. He said that the city is a great place to start and grow a business.
“We are very grateful for the honor,” he said. “Thank you, mayor and the council.”
A member of the audience asked Randy to speak about his late father, Paul Kemner. From 1962 to 1968 his father served on the Signal Hill City Council and also took the seat of city mayor.
“We have been residents of Signal Hill, my family has, since 1959,” Randy said.
