he Signal Hill Historical Society will host its third annual “Breakfast at the Foothill Club” on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9am to 1pm at Discovery Well Park, 2200 Temple Ave. For a $6 donation, participants will be served a pancake breakfast that will also include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, juices and coffee.
Attendees will also learn about the unique and colorful history of Signal Hill while viewing a variety of presentations and displays about the city and the oil industry, including a collection of photographs and artifacts. Kids’ activities will be available, and The Chordells will perform country music.
