The Long Beach Shakespeare Company opens its 2008-09 season with Shakespeare’s humorous Love’s Labour’s Lost. Very possibly Shakespeare’s funniest play, Love’s Labour’s Lost is a romantic comedy, featuring lovers in disguise, mistaken identities, love letters misdelivered, and a surprise ending.
The Shakespeare comedy runs September 26 through November 8 at the Richard Goad Theatre, 4250 Atlantic Avenue, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission and $10 for students. Due to limited seating, reservations are strongly recommended.
