Slivers of Glass is the first murder mystery co-written by married Signal Hill authors Janet Elizabeth Lynn and Will Zeilinger.
Set in 1955, Slivers of Glass tells the adventures of movie stuntman Skylar Drake, a former LAPD detective who is dragged into the murder investigation of a woman thought to have been killed three years earlier. Her body is found behind a theater in old Hollywood, but the hunt for her killer takes him to Sonoma Valley where nothing makes sense until he discovers a dirty underworld and unearths deep-seated greed.
While anxious to close this case and get back to his business in L.A., Drake is haunted by the memory of his wife and young daughter, killed in a mysterious house fire. For a small town like Santa Rosa, it has more than enough dirty cops, politicians and crime bosses to go around, the authors say.
Drake suspects everyone, including the cop assigned to work with him.
