“This year’s VIP Reception was a tremendous success,” said LBPF President Dan Walker. “Thanks to the generosity of community partners such as Signal Hill Petroleum, we were able to fund three grant requests for the Police Department and generated over $28,000 to provide public safety-related equipment, training and outreach programs for our community.”
Debra Russell, director of Community Relations and Business Development at Signal Hill Petroleum, presented the donation to Walker on behalf of the company at the event.
“The Long Beach Police Department makes incredible sacrifices to ensure the safety and quality of life of Long Beach residents and businesses,” Russell said. “Signal Hill Petroleum is proud to support the foundation in all their efforts and express our deep appreciation and gratitude for its unwavering commitment to serving our community.”
Signal Hill Petroleum has donated resources and volunteer time in support of the organization’s mission to enhance the programs and services of the LBPD since 2008, according to a press release issued by ETA Advertising.
