FreeSpirit Yoga, located at 3910 Atlantic Avenue in Bixby Knolls, will host a free breast health presentation on the use of thermal imaging from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11. Thermography is a physiologic test that demonstrates heat patterns that are strongly indicative of breast abnormalities. It is a painless, non-invasive, clinical test that works without radiation or compression. Thermography is used as part of an early detection program that gives women of all ages the opportunity to increase their chances of detecting breast disease at an early stage.
