The Uptown Farmers Market will celebrate its first birthday on Thursday, August 14 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 46th and Atlantic Avenue in Bixby Knolls. There will be music performed by Mickey Bridges on sax, balloon decorations by Marco Espindola, face painting by Judy Taitt, balloon animals by Damon Taitt and the weekly produce drawing at 5 p.m. with a special prize.
