The hospital received average rankings in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, knee replacement, hip replacement, hip fractures, stroke, kidney failure, diabetes and heart failure.
U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 21 procedures and conditions in its report.
The annual procedures and conditions ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
“Our gratitude extends to every member of our medical team, whose commitment to high quality and compassionate care make these distinctions possible,” Carolyn Caldwell, President and CEO at St. Mary Medical Center said in a statement. “This achievement underscores the dedication of our physicians, nurses and staff, and we are proud of their unwavering commitment to improving the health and quality of lives of the people we serve.”
