St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach recently opened a Heart Center for the specific treatment of women’s heart issues. The 1,500-square-foot, $186,000 Center features three treatment rooms and modern cardiology equipment such as a stress treadmill, echocardiogram, 12 EKG machines, a body mass index (BMI) scale and Cholestech for concise cholesterol analysis.
