The Signal Hill Police Department and the Sultans Car Club will join forces to host the 17th Annual Signal Hill Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 29 at Signal Hill Park. The event is Signal Hill’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
The yearly classic car show is a great family affair that is enjoyed under the cool shade of the park. Show quality cars and trucks from 1975 and earlier will be featured. Awards will be presented in various categories at 2 p.m.
Johnny Rocket and the V-Twins will provide musical entertainment.
Along with the cars and entertainment, there will also vendors, food, raffles and information booths by different community groups and a bounce house for the kids. Families will also have the opportunity to purchase, build and race their own pine wood derby car.
Money from the event will benefit Signal Hill youth programs.
The Signal Hill Police Department will have its new Mobile Command Post on display and an information booth for job opportunities with the police department.
