Sunday Night Slam bringing wrestling, lucha libre fun to Long Beach

Ditch the colorful eggs and bunnies for latex and fanfare at this weekend’s Sunday Night Slam in Long Beach’s Thunder Studios. 

The match is presented by the United Wrestling Network (UWN), featuring a roster of male and female wrestling superstars from All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). 

“We are thrilled to bring this level of talent back to Long Beach,” said UWN founder David Marquez in a public statement. “‘Sunday Night Slam’ is more than just a show; it’s a showcase of the best modern wrestling has to offer, from technical masters and high-flying icons to the newest stars.”

UWN is an Emmy-winning global media company with over 25 years of experience in full-service television production and distribution. UWN programming includes weekly episodic pro-wrestling and is currently available on more than 300 domestic and international outlets.

Fans can stream the match live on Adrenaline+ starting at 5:30 p.m. 

The stacked card is headlined by the heavy hitters of the UWN, including:

• UWN World Champion Jordan Cruz

• UWN Heritage Heavyweight Champion “One in a Million” Maximilien

• UWN Television Champion Evan Daniels

• UWN Tag-Team Champions 5150

Special appearances will include WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) ID standout Jack Cartwheel, NJPW stars Fred Rosser and Royce Isaacs, plus the Midnight Heat and the Lucha Kings.
