A suspect driving a vehicle that authorities say was involved in an attempted murder case last month was arrested Tuesday in Long Beach after an early morning pursuit that began in Hollywood.
Los Angeles Police Department officers attempted to stop a black Infinity for a traffic violation in Hollywood around 1 a.m. but the suspect and a passenger in the Infinity drove away, Fox 11 reported.
The pursuit traversed several streets through Hollywood and multiple freeways before Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies caught up with the suspect in Long Beach, Fox 11 reported.
The suspects ran away from the Infinity and hid for several hours before a K-9 unit was called in to search for the suspect. Both men eventually surrendered and were taken into custody.
Fox 11 reported a check of the Infinity’s license plates revealed it was associated with a Dec. 8 attempted murder in Lakewood.
