A robbery occurred at a Chevron gas station at the 3300 block of Orange Avenue on Aug. 18 at approximately 8pm, the Long Beach Police Department said.
An unknown suspect allegedly pushed the gas station cashier while she was opening the cash register and proceeded to steal the money inside, Shaunna Dandoy, LBPD public information officer, said.
The suspect has been described as an adult male wearing a green shirt, green shorts and white shoes, police said. He is believed to have escaped on foot.
No injuries due to the incident have been reported but the investigation is ongoing.
