This time, the event focused on the mid-city area, with major stops at MacArthur Park and a recreation hub near Anaheim Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Many City departments— including the health, fire, police, library, parks and recreation, airport, port and public works— participated with healthy, active-living activities, booths and information for families. The City’s first two such events were Beach Streets Uptown on June 6, 2015 and Beach Streets Downtown on March 19, 2016.
