Cal State Long Beach will host a forum featuring candidates for the 47th Congressional District on Friday, Oct. 5 from 5:30pm to 7pm at the Pointe at the Pyramid. Participating will be candidates Gary DeLong and Alan Lowenthal. The forum is jointly sponsored by the League of Women Voters; CSULB; University of California, Los Angeles; and their partners. Community and campus members are invited to attend the forum, which will be run under League of Women Voters forum protocols. Information tables will be available in the lobby of the Pointe, but placards or signs will not be allowed in the audience. Cards and pencils will be provided to members of the audience who wish to pose questions to the candidates. Taping or filming of the event, which must be televised in its entirety, must be approved prior to the event. Parking for the event is free to community attendees in Lot 13. The Pointe at the Pyramid is located on the university campus at Atherton Street and Merriam Way. The entrance to the Pointe is located beneath the yellow entrance of the Walter Pyramid
