The Concerned Citizens of Signal Hill (CCSH) will host two Signal Hill City Council candidate forums next month. Their first forum will be on Monday, Feb. 4 at the Signal Hill City Council Chamber, 2175 Cherry Ave. Their second one, which will be co-sponsored by the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce, will be on Monday, Feb. 25 at the Signal Hill Police Department Community Room, 2745 Walnut Ave.
Both forums will begin with a “public-candidate meet-and-greet” period from 6:30pm to 7pm. The forums will begin at 7pm and end at 8:30pm.
Each candidate will be allowed two minutes for an introductory statement and two minutes for a closing statement. Questions will be provided by the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce and CCSH. Each candidate will be asked the same question and given one minute to answer, allowing for a total of about eight prepared questions for each candidate. This session will be followed by a limited number of questions from the audience, depending on the time remaining. For more information, call Gary Dudley at (562) 375-0761.
