The Center Long Beach will host the Pink Gala, a fundraising event for 300 guests aboard the luxurious 150-foot, three-level “Majestic” yacht on Saturday, August 16. Celebrities, political figures and supporters will be welcomed down the “pink carpet” to hosted bars, hors d’ oeuvres, a three-course dinner, celebrity entertainment, silent auctions, awards and dancing during the four-hour cruise.
This event will highlight the social and activist works of actress Judith Light (Who’s the Boss?), the Logo T.V. channel, Wells Fargo, and Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster, for their service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community while also raising money to support much needed programs and services. Host will be comedian Jason Stuart.
General or VIP tables, which each seat 10 people, are available. The tickets for the general seats are $200 each; the VIP seats are $250. Also ads in the program book are available at the following prices: business card, $60; 1/4 page, $100; 1/2 page, $200; full page, $400; inside front or back, $500.
With a general admission, every guest receives a gala bag with a signed copy of the new book by actor Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace), hors d’oeuvres, a full host bar, dinner, awards ceremony, access to silent auction items, and a four-hour cruise. The VIP admission includes these amenities as well as preboarding with a VIP reception, personal one-on-one signings with Jordan, special “buy it now” feature with silent auction items, and dinner on the exclusive open-air deck of the yacht.
