Reward yourself for surviving this recent heat wave with a fun day out amongst the Long Beach community, as summer traditions continue in full swing.

The annual Beach Streets gathering returns to downtown this Sunday afternoon, though residents can get even closer to the outdoors at Los Cerritos Wetlands’ 20th anniversary Saturday morning. Additional nature-centric gatherings include a green fair at The Guidance Center on Saturday, a running club Sunday morning and a sunset walk Wednesday evening.

Residents can connect with the community at Fire Station 2 over hot dogs and ice cream on Saturday or self-connect Friday night at Twelfth House’s sensual movement.
