More Info This Day of the Dead themed reading will honor late writers from marginalized communities. Two altars will be erected for “literary ancestors,” with one dedicated specifically to James Baldwin. Attendees are encouraged to bring offerings to place on the altars. Four writers will be reading their original work, and later holding a community discussion on the importance of looking to ancestral authors.
