Don’t let the heat wave fool you — Halloween and fall festivities are in full swing in Long Beach and Signal Hill, from spooky shows to free trick-or-treatings.
Hispanic Heritage Month continues to spotlight culture at events like Noche Latino at Renaissance High School and live cumbia music at ISM Brewing, both Friday night. Latino Restaurant Week will also wrap up Sunday.

Those seeking community can meet like-minded friends at events like Care Culture Collaborative’s weekly food distribution Saturday, the uptown edition of the annual Open Studio Tour Saturday and Sunday, resilience classes at Long Beach Community Table Sunday and an evening photo walk Wednesday night.
