The Bixby Strollers, a local walking group organized by the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association (BKBIA), celebrated their sixth anniversary on Jan. 18.
The group has now walked over 1,200 miles together, or the equivalent of walking from Bixby Knolls to Seattle, according to BKBIA Executive Director Blair Cohn. Members of the group brought treats to share after the walk.
The Strollers meet every Saturday morning at 7:15am at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 4105 Atlantic Ave. The walks begin promptly at 7:30am and last about an hour. Routes are different each week.
