As part of its Habitat Restoration and Water Conservation Education program, the Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a guided tour of the Dominguez Gap Wetlands on Sunday, April 19. Tour participants will view California native wildflowers and are encouraged to bring binoculars for bird watching. There will be two tour groups available.
Group 1 will take a two-mile walk. Registration will be from 1:30pm to 1:45pm, and participants should meet at the northern entrance next to the L.A. River, east of the 710 Freeway, at the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard and Oregon Avenue.
Group 2 will take a short walk. Registration will be from 2pm to 2:15pm, and participants should meet at the southern entrance on Del Mar Avenue, north of San Antonio Road.
