The Signal Hill Community Foundation was recently awarded a $1,000 grant by Wells Fargo last Wednesday at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach.
The gift was presented by Wells Fargo Regional President David DiCristofaro and Long Beach Coastal Region District Manager Andrew Mansfield.
The grant was given for the foundation’s “exceptional” service in the community and was one of the 49 local non-profit organizations honored for their service to the Greater Los Angeles area. Other organizations include the John Wayne Cancer Institute, the Torrance Historical Society and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
All grant recipients were chosen by store managers at their local Wells Fargo.
