Although autumn had just sneaked up a few days prior, 6-year-old Gabrielle “Elle” Davis saw opportunity in Long Beach’s summer-like temperatures last Saturday. She set up a lemonade stand on Lakewood Boulevard from which she made $23 in two-and-a-half hours and later used her profits to purchase a ladybug pillow pet.
