Food Finders will host its Fifth Annual Autumn Harvest Ball fundraiser Friday, October 10 at the recently redecorated Museum of Latin American Art. Over the last four years, thousands of people have enjoyed the organization’s marquee fundraising and social event.
This is an opportunity to mix, mingle and network with other civic, business and community leaders with fine dining by a world-renowned chef, silent auction, live auction by Randy Gordon, raffle prizes, dancing to music by Blue Steel and other local musicians.
As a non-profit organization, corporate and small business contributions are the lifeblood for an event of this magnitude. This year there are several sponsorship levels in which your organization can participate: $10,000 for the Diamond level, $250 Moonstone level. Food finders is also in need of companies or organizations to donate raffle prizes and gifts. Last year the event’s winning bidders walked away with great prizes all night long. Some of which included: A sunset cruise for eight on a 40-foot sailing yacht, a helicopter ride and dinner at an award winning upscale restaurant, and golf packages at Virginia Country Club. One person walked away with a brand new iPhone.
For 19 years, Food Finders has provided help and direction to the many needy families of Los Angles and Orange counties, distributing more than 62 million pounds of food to families- food that would have otherwise been thrown away. Food Finders’ trucks run daily to pick up donated food and other items from local and national businesses and redistribute those items to more than 200 partner agencies in Southern California.
Participation in or attendance to this event will go a long way in helping raise funds so the organization can continue providing food and services to the community. Food Finders is a small organization always looking for volunteers.
